Bearkat包 is our new all-encompassing, convenient textbook rental program that will provide undergraduate students with all required textbooks, 实验室手册, access codes and electronic book versions before the first day of class! All undergraduate students will be automatically enrolled.

Upon registering for courses, undergraduate students will be automatically enrolled into the program. Once you've successfully selected your courses, the bookstore will start preparing your order.

Starting 30 days before the first day of classes, you will receive an order verification link to your university email to verify your order and select your delivery preference.
验证您的订单 at least 7 days prior to your first day of class to ensure textbook availability. Schedule changes may require additional verifications.

An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within 黑板上.

Payment
The Bearkat包 program fee will be added to the charges shown on your SHSU Student Account. Just like other charges, it can be paid by financial aid or be paid for out of pocket. If you enroll in a payment plan, this charge will be included in the payment plan calculations. Supplies are not included in this program and will need to be purchased separately.

If you change courses, revisit the email link to verify changes and select your delivery method. Or, visit us in stores, bringing any course material no longer needed to exchange for new material.

The program provides you with the option to purchase textbooks at a reduced rate during the return period.
返回
The deadline to return all rental textbooks is the last day of finals. Students will receive email reminders about the rental deadline to their email address. Books can be returned to the 书店 on Campus.
继续课程
You will still be required to return continuation course textbooks. You will be issued the same title for the next semester of the continuation course.
未能返回
The purchase price for your textbooks will be added to your SHSU Student Account.

Supplies that cannot be returned and reused such as lab goggles, 解剖工具, 分子模型儿童, engineering kits or nursing kits.

We encourage students to enjoy deeply discounted and guaranteed course material for the first day of class. We also understand this program may not meet the needs of every student. If you do not wish to participate in the Bearkat包 program, you will need to opt-out every semester. You can change your program status 30 days before classes begin.
