We have an exciting membership announcement!
After several years of planning, we have unveiled a new membership model that will best serve the needs and interests of our alumni. We have ditched the dues! You are now a 一般成员 of the SHSU 校友会.
什么改变了?
On May 1, 2024 the 校友会 implemented a new membership model. By moving to an inclusive, non-dues-based model all graduates of 山姆 Houston State University are now 一般成员s of the SHSU 校友会, with no monetary contribution required.
We will no longer offer 一年一度的水平 of sustaining and century membership, but we will continue to honor and service those who already paid annual memberships through the end of their terms.
作为一个 一般成员 of the SHSU 校友会 allows you to rekindle and strengthen the relationships you made at SHSU. We invite you and encourage you to get involved through regional club networking and activities, attending alumni events, and supporting your alma mater through your time, 人才与财富. 作为一个n active member helps make a difference. Simply put, your membership matters.

Come enjoy food and drinks at the SHSU 校友会 tailgating area inside the stadium 2 hours prior to kick-off during all home Bearkat Football games. This is a great time to network with fellow Bearkats and support the alumni association.
